BRAHMANBARIA: Leaders and activists of BNP locked into a clash with police after a cocktail was hurled at Subarna Express Train on Sunday noon.

Witnesses said BNP men hurled the cocktail, but none was hurt as all doors and windows of the train were closed.

On information police rushed to the spot. At that time, BNP men hurled brick bats and cocktails at police that triggered a chase and counter chase. Police fired rubber bullets to take the situation under control.

Assistant police commissioner Tapas Ranjan Ghosh confirmed the matter to banglanews.
