DHAKA: Dr Kamal Hossain has abolished the Gano Forum central committee.

At the same time, Dr Kamal Hossain declared to act as the President and Dr Reza Kibria as the General Secretary respectively of the central convening committee of the party. 

The announcement came in a notification signed by party’s founder President Dr Kamal Hossain on Wednesday (March 4).

The party’s central committee was announced on May 5, 2019.

But all other committees at different levels, including the city, district, upazila, pourashava, union and ward, will remain effective. The central convening committee will be able to exercise all power of the party constitution.
