DHAKA: Opposition BNP’s joint general secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi claimed that six leaders and activists of their party were killed during countrywide violence.

He claimed this in a press briefing at the Nayapaltan BNP office on Friday evening.

Among others religion affairs secretary of the executive committee of BNP Masud Talukder, assistant office secretary Abdul Latif Jony, agriculturalist Shamimur Rahman Shamim and general secretary of Tangail district BNP Dr Shamsul Alam Tofa were present in the briefing.
