DHAKA: An emergency meeting was held between US deputy ambassador to Dhaka John Dannie Louis and BNP vice-chairman Shamsher Mobin Choudhury.

The meeting was held at Louis Gulshan’s residence on Sunday evening.

Sources said various important issues including hartal, hartal violence, GSP facility cancellation and unrest in garment sector were discussed in the meeting.
