JAMALPUR: An Awami League activist was killed in a clash with BNP men at Islampur in Jamalpur on Monday morning as 18-party’s 60-hr hartal enters second consecutive day.

The deceased was identified as Shahjada, 28.

Officer-in-Charge of Islampur Thana Saidur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that Shahjada was killed by BNP activists over land dispute and it was not linked with hartal violence.
