DHAKA: The main opposition BNP-led 18-party alliance will hold a protest demonstration countrywide on Thursday against persecution, arrest and killing on party’s leaders-activists during 60-hour hartal.

Along with the senior leaders, party’s chairperson Khaleda Zia took the decision of the program in a meeting with senior leaders at her Gulshan residence on Monday night.

BNP sources said that the program would be officially announced on Tuesday night from its standing committee meeting.
