PABNA: Miscreants stabbed to death a Juba League man in Sahara club area of the district town on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Geda, 30, an activist of Juba League, hailed from Mandalpara of Municipal Sadar of the district, says Juba League district unit general secretary Rakib Hasan Tipu.

Locals said that a gang of miscreants hacked the victim randomly at around 11:30am while he was returning home getting bail in a case, leaving him critically injured.

Later, locals rushed him to Pabna Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

Confirming the matter Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Kazi Haniful Islam told banglanews, “Police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue.”
