COLOMBO: Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of India`s one-day international against Sri Lanka Monday after coming down with dengue fever, India media reported on Sunday.

"Yuvraj Singh is not available for this game. He has dengue. But he is out of danger," the Press Trust of India quoted India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni as saying at a pre-match press conference.

India, who lost to New Zealand by 200 runs in their first match of the tri-series in Dambulla Tuesday, have already lost pace bowler Zaheer Khan and opening batsman Gautam Gambhir to injury.

Dhoni said queries also remain over bowlers Ashish Nehra (thigh) and Ishant Sharma, who is recuperating from a knee injury.

"We are monitoring Ashish Nehra. He has got a bit of problem with his glute. So we will take the exact decision before the game. Ishant is shaping well. As of now these are the two players who may be missing out," Dhoni said.
