DHAKA: Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has imposed ban on carrying all kinds of electronic devices including wristwatch, calculator, mobile phone sets in 36th BCS Preliminary test on January 8.

BPSC issued a notice in this regard on Sunday. It reads, the authorities concerned will make arrangements for wall-clocks.

Preliminary test of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held on January 8.

The public service commission said this in a media statement on Thursday, around five and a half months after they issued a circular on May 31 for appointing 2,180 first class gazetted-officers.

As usual, the test will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna, Sylhet and Rangpur centers simultaneously from 9:30am to 11:30am.
