9 held over fraudulence in SAU entry test

DHAKA: Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) administration on Friday (December 9) detained nine candidates on the charge of taking resort to fraudulence in the honors 1st-year admission test and handed over to RAB-2.

The five candidates were identified as Kaushik Roy, Rokeya Khatun, Sadman Shahriz, Hasibul Hasan, Shahmun Nakib, Tania Sultana, Nuru Mohammad, Amir Hamza and Khandaker Al Mamun.

SAU authorities said the candidates were found guilty of using electronic devices in the admission test that began at 10:00 am.

SAU pro vice-chancellor (Pro VC) Professor Dr. Mohammad Sekendar Ali confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
