DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said actions will be taken against the educational institutions that are charging extra registration fees from candidates of SSC examinations.

The minister urged people concerned to stop collecting additional fees from students during SSC form fill up.

Nahid made the call in a meeting with a teacher delegation in secretariat on Monday (November 19).

He said, “Those who are collecting extra from students will have to return the money. The ministry officials were directed to conduct investigation and take action against such educational institutions.”
