DHAKA: The Ministry of Education gave directives to the authorities concerned to ensure availability of electricity in all educational institutions for the ICT teaching learning. 

Secondary and Higher Secondary Education division of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (Feb 12) issued the order to director general (DG) of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE).

As per the directives, ICT education has been made compulsory at secondary level of education. The multimedia classrooms must for making the teaching learning activities interactive and participatory. 

Due to lack of power connections, many institutions have no computer labs. For these reasons, there is a need for quick electricity connection to the educational institutions where have no electricity.

These directives have been given to issue necessary instructions to ensure quick electricity connection to all the educational institutions.
