JATIYA SANGSAD BHABAN:  2,000 eligible educational institutions will be brought under Monthly Payment Order (MPO) scheme in phases soon, said Education Minister Dipu Moni.

“9,000 educational institutions applied through online. Of them, 2,000 institutions have been considered eligible for bringing them under MPO,” Dipu Moni said in reply to a supplementary question at the National Parliament on Sunday (February 17).

They provided all the required information of the institutions we asked. It has been done in computerized process, Dipu Moni also said.

Meanwhile, I have already talked to Finance Minister about allocation of money. We can’t work for all institutions at a time, but we’ll begin the task of MPO soon.
