CHITTAGONG: Customs officials of Shah Amanat International Airport of Chittagong, on Tuesday, recovered some 10 gold bars from two passengers from Abu Dhabi by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Confirming the matter, officials told banglanews that they recovered the gold bars worth about Tk 46 lakhs at 10:00am.
Assistant Commissioner of Chittagong customs airport branch Mashiur Rahman Mandal told banglanews that they seized the bars and released the passengers.
