A clash broke out between police and job seekers on Monday (Sept 30) afternoon as the latter attempted to stage a sit-in protest in front of the Chief Adviser’s (CA) residence, demanding an increase in the age limit for government jobs.
According to witnesses, police fired tear gas to disperse the job seekers, who were protesting for the age limit to be raised from 30 to 35 years.
The job seekers are still in front of the CA residence as of filing the report around 2:15pm.
