MUNSHIGANJ: Two persons were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Mawa Highway in Sirajdikhan of the district on Friday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Sirajdikhan Thana Abul Bashar said, “A Dhaka-bound passenger bus rammed a CNG auto rickshaw at around 4:00pm in the area, leaving two killed on the spot.”

Agitating locals ransacked the bus and handed over its driver to police.
