Son kills father in Patuakhali

PATUAKHALI: An addicted son has killed his father in North Muradia village under Dumki Upazila of the district on Friday noon.

The deceased was identified as Harinath Taskel, 52.

Locals said that Sanjay Nath Taskel demanded money to Harinath Taskel for drugs and at one stage attacked his father with lethal weapon, leaving him dead on the spot.

Dumki Thana Officer-in-Charge Ziaul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
