DHAKA: Senior secretary of public administration Abdus Sobhan Sikder has been appointed as principal secretary of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Sikder is being replaced of Shaikh Md. Wahid-uz-Zaman.

The public administration ministry issued an order on Tuesday in this regard.

Newly appointed principal secretary Abdus Sobhan Sikder confirmed banglanews about the issuances of the order.

Besides, education secretary Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury has been appointed as public administration secretary and Election Commission secretary (EC) Mohammad Sadique has been transferred to education ministry and EC additional secretary Sirajul Islam is now acting secretary.
