Dr. A F M Khalid Hossain, Adviser to Religious Affairs announced two government Hajj packages on Wednesday (October 30) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs conference room.

According to the announcement, Hajj Package-1 under the government scheme will cost BDT 4,78,242, while Package-2 is set at BDT 5,75,680. Meanwhile, the cost for private arrangements is set at BDT 4,83,156.

With these new rates, the government’s Hajj Package-1 has been reduced by BDT 1,09,145, and Package-2 by BDT 11,707 compared to previous rates. 

The announcement aims to make the pilgrimage more accessible for citizens, said Dr. Khalid Hossain.
