THAKURGAON: Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) held a Bangladeshi national from 150-yard inside of India to Dharmagar border under Ranisainkal upazila of the district on Friday.

The detainee was identified as Kabirul Islam, a cattle trader, son of Motaleb and resident of the area.

Sources said that BSF personnel held Kabirul while he along with cattle was crossing the border line of India around 5:00am.

Confirming the matter, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Thakurgaon-30 Major Alamgir Hossain said that a letter was sent to BSF asking to hold a flag meeting to get beck the Bangladeshi.
