City garment fire doused

DHAKA: A devastating fire broke out at a jeans washing factory in Hazaribagh area which damaged huge property worth around Tk 10-crore in the capital on Friday.

The cause of fire could not be known immediately but seven fire fighting units doused the fire after 1.3 hours frantic effort.

Sources said that the fire originated at around 2:45pm.   

Fire service duty officer Nilufar Akhtar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
