Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) offices, including Nagar Bhaban and regional branches, will remain open on Friday and Saturday to provide uninterrupted citizen services, despite the usual holidays.

The organization has decided to keep all levels of offices open, including Nagar Bhaban and regional offices, confirmed a DSCC notice issued on Tuesday (June 24) night.

The decision follows the recent reopening of Nagar Bhaban on Monday, after weeks of suspended services due to a sit-in by followers of BNP leader Ishraque Hossain. 
From May 15 to June 3, citizen services were halted as protestors locked the main gate and several departments. 

The sit-in resumed on June 15 after Eid, continuing the disruption until the gates were finally reopened on Sunday.
