A Dhaka court today (December 24) placed a youth, who was detained for attempting to illegally enter the Evercare Hospital cabin where BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is admitted and taking treatment, on two-day remand.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Farah Diba Chanda passed the order as police showed the youth named Sujon arrested under section 54 and produced him before the court. Police pleaded for five-day remand.

Authorities at Evercare Hospital detained Sujon Saturday afternoon as he tried to enter the cabin of the former prime minister and handed him over to Bhatara Police Station.
