DHAKA: A youth was injured critically as miscreants blasted four cocktails in Rayerbagh area of the city on Wednesday evening.

The injured is M Arif, 25, conductor of a bus.

M Arif told banglanews that he along with passengers of the bus tried to escape listening to the rumour that blockade supporters set fire to a bus in Hashem Road area of Rayerbagh.

He added: “During the time, 4-5 cocktails blasted that injured my two legs severely.”

Bus driver Monir recovered Arif and admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

Assistant Sub-Inspector of DMCH Police Camp Sentu Chanda confirmed the matter to banglanews.
