DHAKA: Members of Islami Chhatra Shibir of Jagannath University unit brought out a brisk procession in city’s Dholaikhal area and blasted a series of cocktails.
The incident took place at 1:15pm on Thursday.
Police and witnesses said that a group of Shibir activists of Jagannath University unit brought out a sudden procession supporting the on-going nationwide blockade.
According to them, the Shibir-men also blasted seven cocktails one after another.
On information, police rushed to the place and fired bullets to disperse them.
Gandaria Thana assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Shafiq told banglanews that police forces have been deployed in the area.
