DHAKA: Miscreants blasted three cocktails near to the city’s Suhrawardi Udyan, where ruling Awami League (AL) is scheduled to hold its rally on Monday afternoon.
The sabotage took place in the area around 2:10pm. Another cocktail remained unexploded.
Officer-in-charge Sirajul Islam of Shahbagh Thana confirmed the matter.
He said some miscreants conducted the subversive activities to create panic in the area.
“We are looking into the matter,” he added.
