DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia wants consensus and solution of the prevailing political crisis through dialogues.

A six-member delegation of Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal made the disclosure while talking to journalists after their meeting with Khaleda on Wednesday afternoon.

BNP executive committee member and also Mahila Dal leader Bilkis Islam said, “The BNP chief Khaleda wants reconciliation through dialogues.”

But, Khaleda will continue the blockade till their demands got fulfilled, Biskis added.

She further said the BNP chief expressed her concern about the attack on her adviser Reaz Rahman and urged her party-men to stay on streets to make hartal for Thursday a success.

Mahila Dal leaders Ayesha Siddique, Rahima Khandaker, Nurjahan Islam and Farida Moni Shahid were among others present at the meeting.
