CHITTAGONG: Miscreants hurled cocktails targeting the political office of ruling alliance MP of Chittagong-8 constituency and also Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) executive president Moinuddin Khan Badal in Chandgaon residential area of the district on Thursday night.

Chandgaon Thana Officer-in-Charge Syed Abdur Rauf confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Police sources said that some unidentified miscreants hurled three cocktails aiming at the MP’s political office around 7:00pm.

However, Badal on Tuesday said, police would beat up BNP activists and then shoot at their legs, if necessary at the chests, to maintain law and order in the country.

After that, secretary generals of five parties of the BNP-led alliance have criticized Badal and protested his comment.
