DHAKA: The leaders of Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in her Gulshan political office of the city Thursday evening.

A 14-member delegation led by DAB chairman Dr AKM Azizul Haque entered the office around 6:30pm.

After meeting with Khaleda around 8:30pm, DAM senior joint secretary general Dr SM Rafiqul Islam Bachchu told the media that they came here to see the BNP chief as she fell ill after the pepper spray attack.

“Madam asked us to continue the blockade program until victory and said to remain alert as the incumbent government is creating sabotage in the country,” he added.

The other members of the delegation include Dr Rafiqul Kabir Labu, Dr Abdul Mannan and Dr Mustakin Swapan.
