COMILLA: The BNP led 20-party alliance of the district called hartal for Sunday on protest of Chhatra League and Juba League men’s attack in a peaceful procession of the alliance and case filed against the alliance men.
The hartal declaration came from a press conference in district BNP party office around 5:00pm Friday.
District Chhatra Dal organizing secretary Yusuf Mollah Tipu confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier on Thursday, a Detective Branch (DB) police constable, Kamrul Hasan, chopped during the clash between Chhatra League-Juba League and BNP led 20 party alliance men.
Later, police filed a case against 78 people naming 28 activists of Sadar Dakkhin BNP and its wings under Anti-Terrorism Act.
