FARIDPUR: BNP called dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district for Tuesday to realize their three-point demand.

District unit BNP president Jahirul Haque Shahjada Mia informed reporters about the demonstration at his Jheeltuli residence of the town on Monday morning.

District BNP vice president Azam Khan and general secretary Advocate Syed Modarres Ali Ichha were also present during the time.

The demands include--- release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia from ‘confinement’, implement of seven-point charter placed by the BNP Chief, parliamentary election under neutral caretaker government.
