DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) submitted charge sheet against expelled Jubo League organising secretary of Dhaka South Khalid Mahmud Bhiuyan in a case filed under arms act. 

Assistant Police Superintendent of Police of RAB-1 Belayet Hossain placed the chargesheet in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Devdas Chandra Adhikari. 

General registration officer Sheikh Rakibur Rahman of Gulshan Police Station confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Sunday (October 27). 

RAB arrested Khalid from his Gulshan residence on Wednesday (September 18).

Police seized one shotgun, two pistols, 57 rounds of shotgun bullets, 53 rounds of pistol bullets and 585 pieces of yaba pills from his residence.

Later, four separate cases were filed against Khalid Mahmud Bhuiyan, who was arrested for running an illegal casino.

Then, two separate courts in Dhaka put Khalid on 14-day remand in the cases in two phases.
