DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s health condition is stable. Her health did not deteriorate at all, BSMMU director Brig Gen Dr AK Mahbubul Hoque said.
Dr AK Mahbubul Hoque held a press conference at Dr. Milton Hall of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Monday (October 28).
Khaleda Zia was jailed for five years in a graft case since February of 2018.
She underwent treatment at BSMMU. Though, she has been sick for the last few days, but reluctant to have treatment there. She and her party BNP demanded that she be taken to United Hospital—a private hospital, but the government doesn’t agree. Finally, she is at BSMMU.
