Ex-minister advocate Rahmat Ali dies

GAZIPUR: Former minister and Awami League MP from Gazipur-3 constituency advocate Rahmat Ali passed away at a city hospital Sunday morning.

He was 75.

Rahmat, also the advisory committee member of Awami League, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Square Hospitals around 7:35am.

Sreepur upazilla parishad chairman Advocate Shamsul Alam confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
