DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday (June 15) has condoled the death of former Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran.

In a condolence message, Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League President, has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the demise of her party’s central executive committee member Kamran.

“Awami League leader Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran will be remained alive in the mind of masses with his works,” she said in the message.

The premier prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.

The former Sylhet city mayor breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka early Monday.
