The revised fixture list for the upcoming ODI World Cup has been unveiled, accompanied by a significant announcement from the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The sale of tickets for the highly anticipated ICC Men's World Cup 2023 is set to commence on August 25.

The tickets for the matches and warm-ups that do not feature India will go on sale first, beginning on August 25.

Preceding this date, cricket aficionados will be able to register for their tickets once the link has been made active for the same. On August 15, 2023, the registration link, https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register, will become active, allowing interested parties to register their interest in the event and subsequently receive crucial ticket-related updates.

"Ahead of tickets going on sale, fans will have the opportunity to register their interest via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August. This will enable them to receive ticket news first and help secure their spot at the World Cup, and experience the joy of cricket in one day," the ICC said in a statement explaining the process.

“We are delighted to announce that fans can register to receive information and updates on official tickets for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. The schedule, after some amendments, has now been finalized and fans can now look forward to buying tickets and watching some high-quality cricket. The BCCI will leave no stone unturned to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience at all the hosting venues," BCCI CEO Hemang Amin said in an official statement released by ICC.

Meanwhile the ICC and BCCI also released a revised schedule for the upcoming India-Pakistan match, will is now slated to take place on 14th October in Ahmedabad. The much anticipated clash was initially set for 15th October but was rescheduled.

Meanwhile, the England vs Afghanistan match in Delhi will shift to October 15 from its previous date of October 14.

The World Cup is set to kick off on October 5 with a match between defending champions England and New Zealand at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. The month-long extravaganza will culminate on November 19, crowning the champions of the tournament.

The ticket sales will follow a phased approach, ensuring that all fans have the opportunity to secure tickets for their preferred matches. From August 25 onwards, tickets for all non-India warm-up games and event matches will be available. Subsequently, tickets for India matches across various venues will be released on designated dates, ranging from August 30 to September 3. Semi-finals and the grand final ticket sales will commence on September 15.

With the World Cup fervor escalating, cricket enthusiasts are poised to register and acquire tickets, becoming part of the momentous cricketing spectacle that is the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.
