DHAKA: Frank Lampard has announced he will leave Chelsea Football Club after 13 years.
Lampard, 35, is the club’s leading goal scorer with 211 goals in 649 games.
He joined Chelsea in June 2001 from West Ham for £11 million and helped the club win three Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2012.
He also won four FA cups and the Europa League while at Stamford Bridge.
Announcing the departure the midfielder said: ‘This club has become part of my life.’
He has yet to decide whether he will retire and is understood to have had offers from 16 clubs, including new MLS franchise New York City FC.
Lampard, who made 40 appearances this season, is currently in Miami with the England football squad ahead of the World Cup.
