DHAKA: Youth and Sports Ministry on Tuesday formed a three-member probe committee over the incident of three people killing after stadium wall collapsed in Sylhet city.

Joint secretary of the ministry Monjur Kader was made the convener of the committee.

Two other members of the committee are the director (administration) of National Sports Council and a representative of the Sylhet district deputy commissioner.

The committee was asked to visit the spot and submit the report to the ministry’s secretary within three days.

On Monday night, three children of a family died while sleeping after wall of Sylhet Divisional Stadium collapsed in Lakkatura area following heavy rain.
