DHAKA: Switzerland defeated Ecuador by 2-1 goals in the   wining one at the 90+3′ in clash in the first match of Group E in 2014 Fifa World Cup at Estadio Nacional stadium in Brasilia at 10:00pm BDST.

Switzerland had to wait till the final minutes of the extra time when the super sub Haris Seferovic scored the winner in the 90+3′.

Enner Valencia scored in the 21st minute for Ecuador from a brilliant free-kick taken by Walter Ayovi, leading Ecuador by 1 goal.

 Switzerland equalized right in the start of the second half as Admir Mehmedi scored via a header off a corner.
