DHAKA: Tiger bowlers have taken five wickets of visiting Zimbabwe after setting a 274-run target in the first One Day International (ODI) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in city on Saturday.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan took three wickets and pacer Al-Amin Hossain and Captain Mashrafe Mortaza took one each.

Zimbabwe have scored 79-run after 25.2-over. Captain Elton Chigumbura and M Waller are on the crease with 14 and 0 runs respectively.

Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 107-run off 109-ball, his fourth ODI century while Sabbir Rahman amass 57-run, his top score, helped Bangladesh gather a fighting 273-run. Tamim Iqbal scored 40-run.

T Muzarabani and Sikandar Raza took two wickets each while LM Jongwe and T Panyangara took one wicket each.

The day-night match began at 1:00pm with Tamim Iqbal and make-shift opener Liton Das.

Earlier, Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura won the toss and chose to bowl first.

As Al-Amin returned to the team, Kamrul Islam Rabbi has to wait for his international debut.
