DHAKA: Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, blasted three petrol bombs in capital’s Sayedabad area on Sunday morning.

Witnesses said that supporting harta Chhatra Shibir activist brought out a procession at around 9:45am.

Being protested by police, Shibir men blasted three petrol bombs aiming police and vandalized two vehicles.
 
Later, police fired 4-5 rounds tear shells to bring the situation under control. But none was held in the incident.

Demra Zone Assistant Commissioner of police Minhaz confirmed the matter to banglanews.
