DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Thursday paid homage to General Ziaur Rahman, founder of the BNP, through placing floral wreath at his tomb marking the National Revolution and Solidarity Day.

The leader of the opposition and widow of Zia placed a floral wreath and offered fateha at Zia’s grave at around 11:00am.

Meanwhile, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fahrul Islam Alamgir, opposition chief whip Joynal Abedin Faruk, organizing secretary Fazlul Haque Milon and others were present during the time.
