Bangla Academy has revealed the recipients of the prestigious Bangla Academy Literary Award 2024, honoring 10 distinguished writers across various categories. 

The winners include playwright Syed Jamil Ahmed (Folklore), essayist Salimullah Khan (Essays), Masud Khan (Poetry), Selim Morshed (Fiction), Shubhashish Sinha (Drama), Faruk Nawaz (Children’s Literature), GH Habib (Translation), Mohammad Shahjahan Mia (Research), Rezaur Rahman (Science), and Mohammad Hanan (Liberation War).

This annual award, presented since 1960, recognizes exceptional contributions to Bangla literature in multiple genres.
