Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain or thunder showers with temporary gusty winds across various parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9am today.

According to a weather bulletin issued in the morning, light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely in many areas of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. A few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions may also experience similar weather. Some areas in Chattogram and Sylhet may see moderately heavy to heavy rainfall.

The bulletin further mentioned that both day and night temperatures may increase slightly across the country.

On Thursday, the highest temperature was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur Division, while the lowest temperature today was 24 degrees Celsius in Tangail.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:48pm today and rise at 5:22am tomorrow.
