The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds across parts of the country in the next 24 hours, starting from 9am today.
According to the met office bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds are likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may also occur at isolated places in these divisions. Meanwhile, a few places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions may also experience rainfall.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
On Friday, the highest temperature was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius in Ishurdi, while the lowest was 23.6 degrees Celsius in Kutubdia.
In Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 6:48pm today and rise at 5:22am tomorrow.
