DHAKA: Dhaka city corporation (DCC) took a decision to evict illegal billboards from the city.

Following the decision, the authority concerned started eviction drive from Shahbagh intersection in capital on Saturday midnight.

DCC (south) Executive Magistrate Anisul Islam and Beautification Department Deputy Taxation Officer Shah Kuddus Ahamed lead the drive.

Executive Magistrate Anisul Islam told banglanews, “It’s a continuous process to evict illegal billboards by DCC. According to the list of DCC all others illegal billboards will be evicted step by step.”
