DHAKA: Ruling Awami League is set to send letter to BNP over all-party interim government proposal in reply to the opposition party’s letter.

Party sources said an official letter comprises with a poll-time interim government proposal by the ruling party is to hand over to BNP on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, opposition BNP has sent a letter to Awami League with a brief explanation regarding Khaleda Zia’s proposed outline of the interim government for holding the next general elections.

In an immediate reaction after receiving a letter from the BNP, Awami League general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam has given thanks to BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir over phone.
