DHAKA: A passerby was killed and another one injured as a private car rammed them in Mohakhali flyover area of the city on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ali Azgar, 50, a vegetable vendor.

Sources said that a speedy private car ran over the victims while they were going to Karwan bazaar at around 6:30am, leaving one dead and another injured.

Banani police station Sub-Inspector Noor Mohammad confirmed the matter to banglanews.
