DHAKA: Ruling Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam on Saturday said strongly criticized those who criticized national budget.

“Criticism doesn’t suit those who placed budget wearing Urdi (uniform) in the parliament,” he said.

The spokesperson for the party made remarks while talking to journalists after placing wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi on the occasion of historic six-point demand. 

Awami League leaders placed the wreath led by Syed Ashraful.

Later, Sramik League, Swechhasebak League and Awami Ainjibi Parishad followed them.
