GAZIPUR: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader urged BNP men to take preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections as the ruling party has no intention to keep BNP away from the polls.

Quader, also the general secretary of Awami League, was inspecting the progress of a four-lane highway at Chandra intersection area of Kaliakoir in Gazipur Saturday (March 10).

“Release of Khaleda Zia is completely a concern of the court. The court has punished her after being confirmed about her corruption. The government has nothing to do regarding this”, Quader said about BNP’s allegation that government has influenced the trial process of Khaleda.
